Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the QoopOne cooperative platform. Last updated: July 16, 2026.

Sections

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, setting up a cooperative tenant subdomain, or logging into the QoopOne portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether acting individually as a cooperative member or as an authorized administrator representing a cooperative society) and QoopOne.

Legally Binding

If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately cease all access to the platform and close your account.

2. Accounts & Security

Access to certain features of the platform requires a registered account. Users must provide accurate, complete, and updated information.

Credential Integrity

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Sharing admin accounts is strictly prohibited.

Multi-Factor Auth (MFA)

We strongly recommend enabling MFA (2FA) inside the change security configuration settings to add verification layers.

Unauthorized Access

You must notify QoopOne support immediately upon discovering any breach of security or unauthorized account use.

Suspension Rights

We reserve the right to lock or suspend accounts violating code security guidelines or administrative standards.

3. Cooperative Operations

QoopOne is a software service provider. The platform facilitates operations but does not directly control cooperative rules or financial approvals:

  • Loan Approvals: Individual cooperatives determine loan terms, interest rates, collateral checks, and ultimate disbursement approvals.
  • Interest Calculations: The platform calculates interest payouts based on settings inputted by cooperative administrators.
  • Share Capital: Management of cooperative share capital requirements and dividends distribution is governed by the cooperative's bylaws.

4. Billing, Plans, & Fees

Cooperative subscription plans and platform usage charges are governed by our billing policy:

Subscriptions

Billing cycles recur monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan tier.

Communication Packs

SMS and email notifications are deducted from pre-purchased utility bundles.

Refund Policy

All payments for plans and utility bundles are non-refundable once provisioned.

5. Acceptable Use

To ensure platform stability and safety, you agree not to use the QoopOne portal to:

  1. Engage in illegal activities, fraudulent schemes, or unlicensed money lending operations.
  2. Upload files containing malware, viruses, or code designed to interfere with system operations.
  3. Attempt to bypass security constraints, scan vulnerabilities, or scrape system data without authorization.
  4. Transmit unsolicited communication campaigns or spam members using integrated SMS/email systems.

6. Limitation of Liability

QoopOne provides its software service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QoopOne shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Loss of cooperative funds, savings deposits, or investment yields.
  • Platform downtime, server maintenance windows, or SMS delivery delays.
  • Decisions made by administrators regarding member loan qualifications.
